Health and wellness is always on my mind, wherever I go. Those who know me well, know how much I prioritize my health over anything else. If I’m out eating with my friends, a salad is always in front of me! When at uni, a small box full of diced fruits as a snack is a must. About 6 years ago, I used to literally eat anything without giving a shit whether my body needs it or not. Or whether it includes processed ingredients, hydrogenated oils, a ton amount of sugar or not. However, I’ve had this eyeopening experience when I once didn’t find my size for a jacket I really wanted to buy. I knew this was a wake up call for me, I knew I needed a change in my life. I stopped eating any fast food ever since 2014 no McDonald’s, Hardee’s, KFC absolutely nothing! I also stopped drinking soda except for sparkling water as a sort of sugar-free refreshment. Additionally, I stopped adding sugar to all the hot drinks I purchase or make on my own. Replacing fried foods with roasted or grilled. Eliminating my carbs intake especially gluten. Increasing my protein intake, and loving the veggies! Last but not least, working out in order to achieve faster and better results while enhancing my flexibility and endurance! After many days and numerous hours of packing my breakfast, lunch or snacks wherever I’m going, I thought of creating my own Instagram account and blog for sharing all my thoughts about health and nutrition. Not to mention sharing all the recipes I’ve tried or providing you with healthier options of our well-known dishes that we always ruin our diet for. The key is balance and mindful eating.
