I knoww I was super busy the past month that I didn’t even have time to sit down and think about my blog.Tried to post some tips and thoughts on my IG account to keep my followers a bit updated so they don’t forget the whole odea and content of my blog.If you had seen me the past month, it was just me living on coffee and quick protein bar breakfasts. Living w busy life is a choice I decided to have, as I feel super frustrated when I have free, unplanned time. Gives me a feeling that I’m a failure for real.
Since this week I’m taking some time off before uni starts, I decided to focus and write down some content for my blog. In addition to creating new recipes and reviewes to share with you guys step by step.
So tomorrow I’m going at my friend’s house as she has just got out of a Lasik operation today. I remember how much she loved the banana bread last time I baked it and took it to uni. So, I decided to surprise her with it tomorrow. Those who know me, know I’m a sucker for bananas I can add them to anything. Oats, pancakes, muffins, cakes. Everything!
Since everyone loved my banana bread recipe, I decided to share it with everyone so they can give it a try. It’s so light, healthy and super delicious!
All you’ll need is
- 1/3 cup oil (coconut/olive/canola)
- 1/2 cup of honey
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp of baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 1 3/4 cups of whole wheat flour
- 1/2 a cup of raisins.
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees, and start off by mixing all your wet ingredients together. Then add in all your dry ingredients as well. If you’d like to add some nuts or chopped pecans you can definitely do that it depends on your choice.
As for the cooking time, it usually varies from one oven to the other, however my banana bread took approximately 20-25 mins.

You can have a slice in the morning with a cup of coffee, or as a snack it’ll do too.
